Experience and Pride

The Viking Yacht Company is located on the Bass River, a winding marsh–lined tributary, which feeds into the Mullica River and flows into the Great Bay. About 50 minutes by boat to Atlantic City, the wilderness of the Bass River is a stark contrast to the leading edge technology, which precedes every Viking leaving the New Gretna facility. Building a better boat every day has been Viking’s philosophy for over four and a half decades, and this is why Viking leads the industry today in performance, innovation, engineering and luxury. And Viking will also lead tomorrow because its commitment to excellence is reflected in the “Viking Difference."

State of the Art Facility
The modern 810,000 square foot manufacturing facility is equipped with the latest technology and machinery. From multiple CNC routers for cutting wood parts to a $1 million five-axis profiler, which creates foam plugs to build complex molds, Viking clearly defines cutting edge. And yet, with a strong talented and skilled work force, the human element is equally dynamic.
Finest Service
Experienced service personnel with an intimate knowledge of on-board systems stand behind every Viking Yacht. You never go to sea alone when you own a Viking.
Luxury Performance Yachts
Design, engineering, and manufacturing of performance sportfishing and cruising yachts. Other than a few major components, such as engines and appliances, virtually every part of a Viking is designed and manufactured on the premises. Whether it is a fiberglass fuel tank or a wiring harness labeled every eight inches with its function, you can be sure of incomparable quality.

72MY
Viking 75 Motor Yacht “What goes around comes around” is a popular saying of Viking’s co-founder and president, Bill Healey, and one that emerges again as Viking has relaunched its motor yacht series. Viking exited the motor yacht market with the last 60 Cockpit Sport Yacht delivered in 2001. This model was a strong performer and during its reign was recognized by Boating magazine as the publication’s Boat of the Year in 1995. Much has changed in the motor yacht arena over the years and the development of the new 75 Motor Yacht, a strategic collaboration between the Viking Yacht design team and the firm of Michael Peters Yacht Design of Sarasota, Florida, reflects a number of innovations and refinements in this portion of the market. The exterior profile is sleek, curvy and embodies a number of style cues from our convertibles including the teardrop salon windows, and distinctive molded feature lines in the hull and superstructure. The fiberglass hardtop and raked side supports replicates the look of our Sky Bridge, a very popular appointment found aboard many of our enclosed bridge convertibles. An integrated molded swim platform is planked with teak for secure footing for boarding, as well as water sports activities. Shapely port lights and master stateroom hull side windows contribute style and function, and the full wrap-around anodized aluminum bow rail and wide side decks make for convenient passage when moving forward to handle dock lines or anchoring. As always, a new Viking starts with a freshly designed hull to take full advantage of the available power so as to perform to our formidable standards. The 75 Motor Yacht has a convertible running surface to not only utilize the available horsepower to its best advantage for speed and efficiency, but also for ease of handling and sea-keeping ability. These elements are major differences between our 75 MY and other motor yachts of similar and even longer LOA. The first boat, delivered with a pair of C32-A Caterpillars developing 1,925 mhp each. With a 30 knot cruise and a top end in the mid-30 knot range. With this kind of speed, longer distances can be comfortably covered in a day’s run opening up new cruising areas and expanding opportunities for traveling in motor yacht fashion. The Viking 75 Motor Yacht is filled with special features and spacious accommodations. The tri-level layout demonstrates an intelligent use of space with accents on family comfort and usability. Twin molded fiberglass staircases lead from the teak planked swim platform to the aft deck with its U-shape lounge and table, a perfect invitation for al fresco dining at the yacht club, or on the hook in Nantucket Harbor. A glass door slides open to the salon and you are greeted with the warmth of hand-finished teak joinery, and the rich textures of designer fabrics and soft leathers balanced with natural lighting that feeds in from the salon windows. A custom made sofa and cocktail table on the port side faces teak cabinetry with a built-in entertainment center and flat screen television, which rises on an electric lift. Moving forward, the center area combines a formal dining area with seating for six, and a galley capably equipped to turn out anything from a shrimp cocktail to a 20-pound roast. A lower helm station is complemented with an electronic navigation and communication package provided by Viking sister company Atlantic Marine Electronics. The helm area features a pair of leather seats and additional seating is available at the port settee. Lounge seating also is provided forward on the main exterior deck, along with a large sun pad making this a most versatile area at the dock or under way. Below, accommodations include five nicely proportioned staterooms, each with its own head and shower, including a full beam master suite and crew quarters with private access from the stern.
52SC
Welcome aboard the Viking 52 SC The Viking 52 SC follows the path of our relentless R & D development program to build models within models to enhance the Viking line up from 42 to 92 feet by offering exciting and new variations of our latest designs. The hull and running surface of the new 52 Convertible is the perfect platform for the 52 SC. With 12-degree transom deadrise, and molded strakes for lift and planning efficacy, the resin infused hull features a matrix of Aramid and E-glass hybrid knitted fiberglass laminates, foam and end-grain balsa coring, custom blended modified epoxy and polyester resins, and vacuum-bagged composite bulkheads throughout. Our computer-operated five-axis profiling milling machine carved a new plug to make a stylish deck assembly mold, which includes a climate controlled three-sided fiberglass deckhouse with a raised command bridge helm station for outstanding visibility. The bridge area includes three Stidd helm seats, a U-shape lounge and a molded fiberglass console with capacious stowage, a refrigerator and pop-up flat screen television. At the helm, DC power-assisted hydraulic steering matched to high-speed stainless-steel rudders provide fingertip response, while the single-lever electronic controls harness the horsepower from the twin MAN 8V 1200 CRM 1,200 mhp second generation common rail diesels. Cruise speed will be in the mid-30 knot range with the top end around 40 knots depending upon load, sea and environmental conditions. Accommodations below are surprisingly generous thanks to the boat’s 17 ft. 6 in. beam providing a master stateroom forward with a walk around queen-size bed, along with a private head and shower. Two additional staterooms are served by the second head. A combination salon and galley complete the interior plan with comfort and room to spare. The 142 square-foot cockpit boasts twin mezzanine seating with built-in freezer and stowage space, engine room access, a step box cooler, tackle stowage, recessed in-deck fish boxes and a walk-through transom door with lift gate. Palm Beach Towers, a subsidiary of Viking, which specializes in aluminum and fiberglass fabrications, will outfit the first 52 SC with a custom designed tuna tower to demonstrate the new model’s affinity for blue water fishing, as well as negotiating the shallow waters and flats encountered throughout the Bahamas, thus creating another highly defined model with exceptional versatility in the Viking tradition. Viking’s subsidiary, Atlantic Marine Electronics will equip the 52 SC with custom navigation, communication and entertainment systems allowing for turnkey delivery. The Viking 52 SC two additional siblings, the Viking 52 SC (Sport Coupe) featuring the eye appealing profile of the 52 SC with its three-sided fiberglass deckhouse, but to accommodate the needs of cruising yachtsmen, a customized fiberglass arch for radar and other antennas or a fiberglass mast will be available. Dramatic paint schemes to compliment the roof line, radar arch and mast also will be offered for added personalization. Finally, a third version is the Viking 52 Open with its custom made signature fiberglass wraparound windshield so popular aboard our hot ticket 42 Open. Like the Viking 52 SC, the 52 SC and the 52 Open showcase the same inviting three-stateroom two-head layout affording ideal cruising and entertaining accommodations, as well as the bi-level 142 square foot cockpit with its observation mezzanine. We cordially invite you to contact your Viking dealer regarding the availability of the 52 SC and 52 Open.
62EB
Here Comes the Viking 62 Enclosed Bridge Building a better boat every day is the philosophy that has guided the Viking Yacht Company for over a half century. During this period, new boats have been our mainstay positioning Viking as best in its class, with a stellar reputation for ground breaking innovation, envious performance and unimpeachable style. The 62 Convertible is a showpiece in the Viking tradition with a fusion of leading edge engineering. To optimize its strength to weight ratio, the composite cored hull is resin infused with a high modulus of Dupont’s Kevlar, carbon fiber and knitted fiberglass laminates selected to reduce weight while increasing the overall physical properties of the structure. Similarly, interior stateroom and hanging locker doors, as well as cabinet fronts throughout the yacht incorporate honeycomb coring for further weight reduction. The 62 Convertible also has recessed engine cooling water pickups, refined propeller pocket entry to enhance flow to the five-bladed wheels for reduced noise with better traction, and modified architecture to the struts and rudders adding to an efficient and slippery running surface delivering speeds in excess of 42 knots with a pair of Caterpillar C32-A engines rated at 1,925mhp. Abundantly detailed, the profile of the 62 Convertible makes a powerful statement. The unbroken sheer sweeps gracefully bow to stern. Nearly eight feet of freeboard at the bow along with the gentle crown on the flush foredeck is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and increases the headroom in the forward stateroom. A newly designed engine room vent fascia with longitudinal fins give the boat the illusion of speed even at rest, while keeping the machinery space dry and supplying a rush of combustion air. Walking into the salon is a delight to the senses and your first impression will be that you are aboard a much larger yacht. With nearly 19 feet of beam, the expanse resembles a stately great room, lush with individually chosen planks of random, natural teak each one featuring a tight, fine grain that defines the area with sense of richness and custom appointments. A home theater system includes a 46-inch flat screen television, which rises from the teak cabinetry and an audiophile Bose system. The serving island, a Viking innovation, is topped with custom granite, as are all of the counters in the L-shaped galley. The island is ideal for prepping meals at the dock or under way, and allows more freedom of movement throughout the area with two egress points. Drawer-style under counter refrigeration and world class appliances will bring smiles to even the most demanding chefs. A choice of three or four staterooms is available. In the three-stateroom plan, each one has a private head and fiberglass shower stall. In the four-stateroom layout, the two port staterooms share the port head. While all of the staterooms offer generous accommodations, including System #1 innerspring mattresses, excellent stowage and privacy, each has its own special take and is uniquely designed to maximize comfort and function. The forward stateroom offers a choice of a VIP layout with a queen size walk around berth, or crossover berths. The port stateroom has side-by-side berths and the fourth stateroom features upper and lower berths. The master stateroom is amidships with an athwart ships queen-size walk around bed, an upholstered headboard, flanking night tables, a credenza, a 32-inch flat screen television, and a pair of floor to ceiling maple-lined hanging lockers. The flying bridge mirrors other new generation Vikings with a center console helm station, three Murray Products pedestal seats with ladder backs, port, starboard and forward lounge seating with stowage beneath each one, a freezer and a chill box for drinks. The 62 Enclosed Bridge features our signature spiral staircase from the salon to the bridge, along with a docking station on the aft deck. To accommodate the staircase in the salon the 62 Enclosed Bridge will utilize a U-shape peninsula galley similarly equipped as in the open bridge version. The bi-level 172 square-foot cockpit is the result of thousands of hours on the tournament trail. On the upper level, another Viking innovation, the observation mezzanine is designed to keep guests cool and dry thanks to the flying bridge overhang, as well as clear of the crew working in the lower cockpit. Lifting the hinged seat lids beneath the Sunbrella cushions exposes a freezer, and engine room access. A lower level compartment stows bulky gear, while tackle drawers are built into a molded console to starboard. A refrigerated drink box doubles as the salon entrance step. The lower level cockpit is professionally equipped with flush rod holders, fresh and raw-water wash down systems, a transom fish box, rounded comings with indirect rope lighting below, side lockers for tag stick and gaff stowage, a quick disconnect fitting for oil changes for the engines, transmissions and generator, port and starboard in-deck insulated fish and stowage boxes, and stereo speakers to name just a handful of the standard features. The lazarette also has been prepped for the installation of a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer at the factory or a later date. Mechanically, the engine room is engineered for life at the 1,000 fathom line. Engine instrumentation is located at the entrance door. Bilge areas are painted with bright white Awlgrip for ease of maintenance. A Delta-T ventilation system provides clean, dry air for combustion, while suppressing water intrusion. A centralize sea-water system with a variable speed pump provides ample flow to multiple outlets for onboard needs including watermakers, icemakers, air conditioning, live wells and washdown system. A 27.5 kW Onan generator is standard and space is provided for a 21.5 kW Onan as a backup if desired. Climate control needs are met with a 58,000 Btu direct expansion and zoned air conditioning system. For turnkey delivery, we encourage you to enlist the services and products of our sister companies, Atlantic Marine Electronics and Palm Beach Towers for custom accessories. The Viking 62 Convertible represents the newest ground breaking champion in the history of the world’s largest and most copied manufacturer of convertible sportfishing yachts. We cordially invite you to contact your Viking dealer to learn more about this new model and arrange a sea trial and factory tour of our 862,000 square-foot facility.
42C
Setting standards in mid-sized performance. For over five decades the Viking Yacht Company has devoted itself to building competitive sportfishing boats. Refusing to rest on its laurels. While the 42 Convertible and 42 Open share the same LOA, they are as unique as day and night. The 42 Convertible, for example, is incredibly well proportioned with its nearly 16 feet of beam to allow three staterooms and two heads below with room and comfort to spare. Likewise in the deckhouse, every available inch has been put to good use with a comfortable sofa, a dinette and a practical galley. The cockpit sports Viking’s signature observation mezzanine, while the flying bridge exhibits every amenity found on its larger siblings, albeit in a scaled down version. Initial specifications call for the pod drive system. At first blush, the Viking 42 Open, which utilizes the same hull form, appears to be the ideal day boat with rakish good looks. Frankly, it is much more boat. The standard layout features a forward stateroom, twin berths beneath the command deck, a full head and shower, a compact galley to starboard and a dinette to port. Also available is an alternative layout with accommodations for four in two private staterooms along with two heads, each with a fiberglass shower stall. The berths tucked in beneath the command bridge boost the sleeping capacity to six. This space becomes available due to use of pod drives, a significant departure from other Vikings. As you would expect from Viking, the cockpit has a tournament pedigree and the command bridge includes three pedestal helm seats, along with plenty of lounge seating and ample creature comforts. These two models demonstrate Viking’s pulse on the emerging market, and one more reason why the Viking Yacht Company is the worldwide leader in luxurious, high performance convertible yachts. We invite you to contact your Viking dealer to learn more about these exciting models.
