SGL Constructors currently working on the I4 Ultimate Project in Orlando, Florida. Is the largest road construction project currently in the US and the history of Florida. The project entails 148 bridges 21 miles of roadway re-alignment and elevation change, with the addition of more lanes. The project started in 2014 officially taken control of I4 2/2/15 and completion date 2021, we are employing all trades with an employee count over 800 and management over 200 employees onsite with 2017 looking at adding 200 more employees. The project had a hiring and recruiting center with equipment simulators and an extensive equipment training program designed to enhance current operators experience and develop new employees entering the trade. The project is so large we have separated the 21 miles into 4 large projects all working at the same time. SGL is looking forward to adding more employees and various trades to our family atmosphere, their are three of the largest heavy civil contractors in the world building this project. Skanska - Granite - Lane are looking at developing long lasting relationships and adding more professional staff to the TEAM!
