Company History

Walco Industries Ltd. was co-founded in the early 1980's by Ed & Wendy Walcot in Port Alberni, B.C.

The original operation consisted of a single street sweeper and a septic truck servicing local municipalities, businesses and residents. The business grew through the next few decades and expanded its fleet of equipment and service offerings to markets throughout Vancouver Island and into the Lower Mainland of B.C.

Ed Walcot passed away in November of 2014 and the family continues to operate the business with Ed's wife, Wendy, and son, Charlie, at the helm.

At present, Walco Industries Ltd. has a fleet of over 60 units, which includes; Vacuum Trucks and Tankers, Hydro-Vacs, High Pressure Pumps of all sizes, and can service any size of job requirement throughout the Province of B.C.

An experienced and well-trained team has grown from one man to over 65 full and part- time employees working out of locations in Port Alberni, Campbell River, Crofton, Powell River, and Vancouver.
